“Two and a half men”

One of my favourites american serials is “Two and a half men”. It is hard to say briefly what the 10-season serial is about. It’s a story of two adult brothers and Jake- son of one of them. But let’s start from the beginning

We meet Alan after his divorce. His wife takes his house, his car and most of savings. Alan doesn’t have a place to live so he goes to his brother- Charlie, and asks to live with him for a few days, maybe weeks. Charlie is single. He’s charming, handsome, funny and has a lot of money. Women love him so he never has lonely nights. Charlie is some kind of compositor. He composes jingles. He drinks a lot and spends time in a big house on the beach in Malibu. He lives his life, he’s free like a bird and happy because of all of the women who make his time passes more pleasantly. But when Alan comes and asks for help, Charlie can’t refuse him. And that’s when the story really begins.

The brothers live together. Charlie considers Alan a loser and frankly speaking he’s right. Alan is broke, despite the fact that he’s a doctor. He makes stupid mistakes in a regular life and can’t cope with women. He spends his evenings lonely, because of lack of friends, while his wife has fun with another man. The whole Alan’s life is presented in a very funny way.

In “The two and a half men” an important place takes Jake- Alan’s son. After Alan’s and his wife’s divorce, ten-year-old Jake stays under his mother’s care, but he spends weekends with his father. Jake is not very bright and smart. He doesn’t understand a lot and always asks stupid questions.

The story is very funny and sharp. The viewer is often surprised about what the situations end. I would like to recommend you this serial if you want to spend time in a pleasant way.
